Simran turns up at the Akhtars just after Pervaiz leaves for Umrah. Nadia immediately starts on her about Jaggy not going to the police. Simran says she has is sure Jaggy will do the right thing. Nadia says that's all well and good but what if Kamal doesn't make it? She isn't coming back to work either and wishes Simran luck- she is going to need it.
Jaggy goes to Darren's flat to tell him he is moving out. And he won't be lying for him anymore either. Every time he thinks of that night it makes him feel sick. The way Darren lied to Kamal about which way Nadia went so he could get him on his own. But most of all Jaggy remembers the look on Darren's face. It was the look of pure hatred for a foreigner.
Khatija wants to teach the Jilanis a lesson. It was their fault that Pervaiz couldn't work for years and now they are cutting corners again. It's a little convenient that Mushtaq gets a health scare as soon as his company's under investigation. Khatija wants to pay them a visit and find out the truth but Nadia reckons it would be better to get a journalist involved, someone interested in Kamal, not Darren.
Darren can't believe Jaggy is willing to let him go to prison for the sake of easing his own conscience. He gets more and more fired up and throws Jaggy's belongings out of the window before manhandling him out of the flat and slamming the door.
Elsewhere the journalist tells Nadia and Zak she can't write anything that might prejudice the case. They could write something about Jaggy Singh's friendship with Darren and bring everything out into the open that way. Could this be a case of Asian on Asian violence?
