Jaggy turns up at Faye's flat after a row with his parents. They talk about being younger and Faye says he made her feel she could live her dreams too but things don't always turn out the way you hope. Jaggy says it feels like yesterday they were together and Faye agrees. It's about your first love and not knowing what you have until it's gone. They kiss and Faye invites him upstairs.
We hear a montage of voices making up Jaggy's rise to fame. Jaggy's school headmaster awarding him Player of the Year, getting a place at the School of excellence, extracts of later TV interviews and crowds cheering him on. And the moment when he tells Simran this is just the start.
Back to reality and Faye asks if there is a Mrs Singh. Jaggy tells her about Simran but misses out the bit about her stabbing him. Faye always imagined she would end up with Jaggy but he says he would only have hurt her in the end. They are interrupted by Faye's children and she shoos them out saying she'll make breakfast. Jaggy's phone rings. It's his dad telling him his sick aunty is asking for him.
Jaggy apologises to his aunty for not seeing her the last few years but she says he had his own path to follow. They are all proud of him but Jaggy says his dad isn't anymore. Aunty Balbiro tells him he is wrong. Why does Mohan keep Jaggy's trophies polished and go through the keepsakes every week? She tells him to go and see for himself.
Downstairs, Jaggy finds a video of when he was interviewed on a breakfast television show. Aunty Balbiro shuffles in saying she has a feeling this might be the last time she sees Jaggy and gives him a locket. Jaggy asks her what the wording inside means and is told it will keep him safe and hopefully lead him in the right direction........
