Jaggy arrives at his parents to find nobody home. After a while the family return and his parents are surprised to see him. As they enter Jaggy enquires about all the stuff in the hall and is told it is for Vaisakhi. Jinx is trying to co-ordinate it all this year. Jaggy tells Jinx that's what he is - a trier!
Simran has a party to thank her friends for being there for her. She didn't know Kamla was coming but Rita thinks it is good for her. Simran doesn't think Nadia will come in light of her mission to get justice for Kamal. Jaggy being Darren's friend makes it awkward. Simran reckons if Jaggy wants to hang out with someone like Darren she doesn't want him around her baby. And she hasn't got the energy to be his conscience anymore.
Back in Bury Gurpreet tells Jaggy his old club have signed up an Asian footballer. Jaggy gets fired up about clubs using brown players to promote anti-racist stuff in the name of 'community outreach' Gurpreet chips in saying they need to collect Aunty Balbiro from hospital and says they'll be back soon. Out in the hall Jinx quietly fills his parents in about Darren attacking Kamal.
Gurpreet worries Jaggy's 'racist' friends will turn on him some day. And where are the club when he needs them? Back at the party the same subject is discussed and Simran points out she doesn't want the baby to hear about 'that man'.
Later, Gurpreet tells Jaggy that Aunty Balbiro isn't well enough to see him at the moment and he takes it out on Jinx. He accuses his brother of muscling in on Simran and the baby. Jinx takes offence to this and takes a swing at Jaggy. Their parents intervene and Mohan says he won't have this. Jaggy says that's fine with him and storms out....
