PC Pullman is filling Rita in on the case she's been called in to help with. They've picked up a man from the lodgings they raided (where Kamal lived) and want to get more information from him. In the interview, the man makes some very insulting remarks about the police and Rita has to do her best to interpret them diplomatically!
Over at the Chauhans, Roopa is not in the mood for Jas's "Little Miss Do-gooder" act. She doesn't need saving from anything, and she doesn't need Jas! In her frustration she starts attacking Jas, saying she should look at her own appearance for a change, but Jas refuses to rise to the bait. If Roopa's fine then why is she crying? Darren and Jaggy roll in from their night out. As soon as Darren's through the door he pours himself another drink. He's not worried about making a fool of himself because he's had media training. Jaggy feels sorry for himself because he never did: maybe they never thought he'd make it.
Jas and Roopa lie awake in dark, both unable to sleep. Jas pleads with Roopa to let her help her, but Roopa's still upset Jas talked to her school. What if they call mum and dad? Then Jas starts to reminisce - remember when they used to have pillow fights? They can't help laughing as they remember Pradeeps's face when he caught them. He was mad...
Darren is getting really drunk. He's pleased with himself for staying in control outside - if the paparazzi took a picture of them they would have looked fine. Jaggy realises he's been set up but Darren hasn't finished talking yet. If Jaggy wants to stay in the game, he threatens, then he'd better stick up for him...
