Jaggy is dozing on the sofa in front of a film when he's rudely awakened by the phone. It's Darren, who's out on the town and fancies a drinking partner, and Jaggy hasn't got the energy to put up a fight... In the bar, Darren holds forth about his case. He reckons the police want to make an example of him and he needs Jaggy to back him up. Darren pointedly mention's the coaching job again, implying that Jaggy needs him too...
Meanwhile, Rita's shocked when she opens the door to find Jas outside - Jas should be in Glasgow ! Rita's worried Jas has got kicked of her course and Jas explains she just needed a change of scenery. Rita's actually on her way out to work. The interpreting job plays havoc with her sleep patterns but she loves it, although she confesses she's nervous tonight because it's Urdu not Gujerati. She's got to go though, her car's waiting...
Jas goes upstairs and Arun fills her in on Roopa: she almost fainted earlier but he made sure she couldn't get in the bathroom to be sick - he was in the bath for an hour! Jas tells him she's going to pretend she can't go back to the student house yet so she can share Roopa, and that way they can keep an eye on her...
Roopa isn't pleased to see Jas back and her sticking her nose in again. Her room smells awful and Jas starts searching around to find out why. She opens a cupboard and Roopa barges past to slam it shut again - but not before Jas realises that she's been being sick in her room and hiding it. Things are getting serious. Jas orders her to move out of the way; otherwise she's telling Rita...
