Rozena is with Rita, bemoaning the fact that Sameer won't let her accept an apartment from her dad. He's suddenly gone all traditionalist and said his family should be the provider - talk about bad timing.
In Glasgow , Imran is trying and failing to sell tickets for Jas's film festival. The films are a bit off the wall as Nadia and Roopa are finding out: the film they're watching is just a man hitting his head against a wall! Jas offers to take Nadia for tea to make up for it, telling Imran he can meet them later.
Once they're settled in the cafe, Nadia tells Jas to own up: why has she dragged them up here? Is it to avoid being alone with Imran? Jas admits she hasn't been telling the whole truth, but it's not Imran, it's Roopa...
Meanwhile, back at the cinema, Roopa is hiding in the toilets binging on sweets and making herself retch.
Nadia can't believe Roopa is bulimic. How could Jas leave Silver Street with her sister in that state? Jas tries to defend herself but Nadia won't listen: Jas only asked them to visit to make herself feel better. Jas pleads her to help - she just needs to get Roopa on her own.
Later, Jas and Roopa go shopping together. Jas goes straight in at the deep end and tells Roopa she knows what's going on: she knows she's got an eating disorder. Roopa tries to run off but Jas tells her she's spoken to Arun and knows she's been stealing money. Their parents need to know the truth. Roopa is desperate to hide her secret and threatens to run away. In tears, Jas reluctantly promises not to tell, so long as Roopa lets her help....
