The newlyweds return from their honeymoon and Rozena is dreading facing people after the Trucon announcement. She can't be sure that Brian has kept his word. Sameer reassures her she's got nothing to worry about, he's taken care of everything. When she won't stop fretting Sameer suggests she goes to see Rita to put her mind at rest.
Pradeep is missing money from his wallet and asks Rita if she's borrowed any. She hasn't, but when she goes to lend him some she realises there's cash missing from her purse as well. Pradeep gets a sinking feeling when he remembers Krishan splashing out on presents for the gerbil, surely Krishan wouldn't......
Rita and Pradeep sit Krishan down and ask him gently how he paid for the presents. Krishan tells them he took the money from his piggy bank and is upset that they want to have a look. When they check it's obvious Krishan is telling the truth and Rita goes to give him a hug but Krishan storms off. They should have believed him in the first place. Then Pradeep voices his fear that maybe Arun took the money for drugs. Rita warns Pradeep against accusing Arun, but Pradeep thinks she is trying to be trendy by making out casual drug use is ok.
Meanwhile Roopa has hidden herself away in her room and is bingeing on a mountain of snacks she's just bought from the corner shop.
Rozena interrupts the row at the Chauhans much to Rita's relief. Rozena is even more relieved when it's obvious that they have no idea she was involved in Trucon. She tests the water and asks Pradeep about the announcement. When Pradeep angrily tells her about Brian she feigns shock but is genuinely surprised to hear that Brian has disappeared and it's clear that she is feeling very guilty about the whole business.
