It's the baby naming ceremony. Surinder and Gurpreet are arguing as usual and Surinder accuses Jaggy's family of taking over everything. They have provided everything except a father. Jinx attempts to keep the peace but in vain. Finally Simran loses it announcing she is going in the car with Jinx and the baby and is past caring whether the other two come or not.
Pradeep has a word with Kuljit about Amrit being in the restaurant. Amrit kept distracting the waiters and as a result they were mixing orders up. He suggests Kuls cut his hours down but Kuls says he needs the money more than ever. He has to take his dad to the Gurdwara now but promises not to let Pradeep down again.
Rita feels bad that she will be away on Roopa's birthday. Roopa tells her to stop trying so hard. Besides she is planning to chill with Bina. Rita later admits to Pradeep she feels left out. The kids don't seem to need her anymore. Pradeep says they do and everyone is behind Rita going on this course.
Later Simran and Jinx are approached by the Granthi who wrongly assumes they are married. He says it's always a pleasure seeing a young family start out on life's journey. Jinx reckons that is a nice thought. Meanwhile Surinder and Gurpreet are undertaking their own journey - trying to get to the Gurdwara.
Jaggy turns up and sees Kuljit there. Kuls tells him how good looking the baby is but Jaggy says he wouldn't know because he hasn't seen him. He tells Kuls he has had enough of this place. Kuls tries again to get Jaggy to see the baby who they have now named Kesar. He tells Jaggy to get his act together before someone else takes over the role of father. Simran is a lovely girl who won't stay single for ever. It's a question of time.........
