The Council House is crowded with people arriving for the public meeting and Pradeep runs into Mushtaq on his way in. Mushtaq is looking for Brian who in fact is hiding away down the corridor on his phone, talking to the workers on the allotment site. He's worried the security fence won't be ready in time.
Meanwhile, Jinx is all fingers and thumbs as he tries to put a nappy on his little nephew. Simran finds herself having the best laugh she's had in ages and admits to Jinx she's been feeling alone - she even misses Kamla! Jinx says she's a brilliant mum there's just one thing she needs to do: give the baby a name. Jinx nags her again later when they go for a walk in the park and Simran reluctantly gives in - she knows she's got to arrange the naming ceremony but she's been putting it off to avoid the relatives. Jinx says he'll make sure they don't cause any trouble, so how about doing it next week?
Roopa is back at school and Bina is filling her in on the gossip. Roopa just moans about Ba giving her tea loaded with sugar. Later on, Roopa puts some make up on to cover up her spots and Bina says she looks like she's been tangoed. Roopa isn't happy...
At the Council meeting, it's time for the big announcement: who is the real face behind Trucon? The officer takes his time getting to the point and Pradeep starts to heckle him. He fights his way across the room, desperate to teach Brian a lesson, but very soon he's being manhandled out by security...
