Rita is trying to get Krishan ready for his first day back at school after the Christmas break and she wonders why Roopa is so quiet today. Krishan reckons she is probably hormonal.
Brian tells a shocked Pradeep that Kamla is living with Simran. He also thinks Pradeep looks tired and tells him to stop worrying about things. They talk about the forthcoming meeting where the identity of the property developers will be revealed. Pradeep is determined to look them in the eye and won't be alone either! Brian decides to make a hasty exit.
Pradeep gets home as the kids are dashing off to school. Pradeep comments that a new year and new term will be good for the kids after all the recent situations. Rita thinks they need a normal routine in their lives again and Pradeep agrees. And to celebrate he'll have a biscuit with his cuppa.
Rozena goes shopping with her mum and Zenab asks how married life is. Rozena starts to tell her but Zenab interrupts saying she has planned a big Eid party to show off the happy couple. Anyway what was Rozena about to say? Rozena says it was about how welcoming Sameer's parents have been. Later, Zenab tells Rozena she is lucky to have found someone like Sameer, they make the perfect couple. Rozena stops the car saying she needs some papers from the office.
Roopa is working flat out in PE and wants to do an extra circuit after the session has finished. Her teacher says she is already impressed but Roopa is insistent. Mrs Hayes finally agrees to half a circuit - she wants a break even if Roopa doesn't.
Back in the office Rozena tells Brian that she is pulling out of the Trucon deal. Her marriage is more important and she needs Sameer to trust her. On that note she leaves and a Brian throws his glass across the office in a fit of rage........
