Simran is relieved that the baby has gone to sleep after keeping her up half the night. But then Kamla slams the door and the baby starts crying again. Simran says he needs a nappy change but she can't find them. Kamla admits she moved them and then takes the baby causing Simran to grit her teeth.
Rita and Pradeep are both free for the first time in ages and decide to drive to Bridgenorth. Once there they are approached by an elderly man who says they remind him of how he used to visit here with his wife years ago. When he leaves Rita feels sorry for him and Pradeep suggests she is being very sensitive. Rita can't help herself - it's this place, there is definitely something about it.
Later at the salon Simran admits to Nadia that Kamla is being a bit overbearing Nadia cheekily suggests Simran make a coffee while she holds the baby. Simran pops out for magazines and Kamla comes down to find Nadia balancing work with looking after then little one. She immediately whisks him back upstairs.
Back in Bridgnorth Rita and Pradeep visit an old teashop and chat. Rita spots the old chap again and invites him to join them. Roy tells them he comes in here at least twice a week and thinks the wife does too. Roy is horrified when Rita asks why they don't come in together. This is his only sanctuary after 50 years of nagging!
Simran confronts Kamla about what happened. Kamla says she thought she was helping and promises not to interfere again but then says she asked someone to check if the baby's crying is a sign of colic. Simran says they need to talk but Kamla interrupts saying she enjoys being here and it's no inconvenience. Simran mutters something about that being alright then....
