Simran wishes she could sort things out with her mum and dad but they are so angry. Kamla thinks Simran's dad will take one look at the baby and everything will be fine. Simran tells her Jaggy's back in town and doesn't seem in any rush to see his son either.
Mary sorts some food donations for Sway to take to the homeless shelter. She asks if he found somewhere for his family to stay in the end and Sway says yes but Mary must not tell his mum how much hassle it was. The phone rings and Mary goes off to answer it.
Simran later decides she will go to Southall to rebuild some family bridges and suggests Kamla do the same with Rita. Kamla pretends she had a call from Jai and their house is almost finished. Later, she confesses there is no house. Jai lied and she was evicted when he took off. If it wasn't for Simran and the baby, Kamla reckons she would have gone mad!
Later Mary introduces herself to Sway's mum and Gramps and unwittingly ends up telling Shirley they almost ended up on Jodie's boat. Sway has not been house-sitting Mani's house for months as he claims. Shirley wants to know exactly what Kuls and Sway have been up to since they moved here.
Pete asks what Mary is going to do about Siobhan's card and reminds her what happened last year. She is going to have to decide one way or another and soon. Elsewhere, Simran is giving Kamla the same advice. The truth will come out and she is going to have to face up to what happened......
