Rita visits Simran and the baby. She's brought some food with her but Kamla has already filled the fridge. Simran tells Rita how much she appreciates Kamla's help. If she hadn't been there she would have been stuck with Sean and Zak at the birth and that would have been a disaster. Simran can't decide what to do about naming the baby, should she try and bring the families together and take him to the Gurdwara or should she avoid a possible nightmare and just go to the register office on her own and risk upsetting everyone. As Rita is leaving Kamla arrives and there is an awkward meeting between them. Rita tries to persuade Kamla to talk to her but Kamla doesn't want to know. Rita snaps that if she loses touch with her grandchildren Kamla will have no-one to blame but herself.
It's Sameer's stag night and his rowdy mates are calling for beer but Sameer puts his foot down and won't let them drink until after the go-karting. Kuljit's got his eye on the bottle of bubbly for the winner. He tells Sameer he's planning to have his dad home for Xmas and New Year and Amrit likes a drink. Sway overhears and is put out that Kuljit has made plans for Xmas without even talking to him first. When Sway wins the go-karting competition it triggers an argument between them. Kuljit accuses him of wanting Amrit to stay in hospital. Sway tells him it's not that but he feels he doesn't have a home at the flat anymore. The row disintegrates into a fight as Kuljit tries to hit Sway. Sameer and Imran try and calm them down and they reluctantly agree to make peace, for tonight anyway.
