Rozena phones Brian with some excuse, she really just needs to talk to someone and he's the only person who knows the position she's in. She feels bad that she's been lying to Rita about Jas and Imran's relationship. Brian doesn't help when he reminds her that she's also using her own fiancé as a decoy over the allotment deal.
Later Rozena goes to the salon for the full works. Nadia moans to her that Simran has taken on a relief manager to cover her maternity leave when she could have easily done the job herself. Rozena makes her see sense though and encourages her to concentrate on her own business. Nadia is excited when Rozena tells her they've set a wedding date but Rozena is only concerned with all the trouble she is having to take, to look good; after all she doesn't want to be outshone by her own mother. Rozena is so pleased with the results of her facial that to Nadia's delight she books her for all the Mehndi nights before the wedding.
Kamla is discussing fittings for her new kitchen with the builder, Bobby. Reluctantly he tells her that he needs the next payment; he hasn't seen Jai yet and is concerned about Kamla's financial situation. Kamla reassures him telling Bobby all about Jai's 'business' and pretends that Jai sends her cheques regularly. When Bobby has gone Kamla tries again to contact Jai but still gets his answer-phone. She leaves him yet another message, telling him about the new kitchen and pleading with him to come home. She doesn't like being alone in the house and all the money has run out; where is he and when's he coming home?
