Kamla is annoyed with Jai for going away all weekend without telling her and isn't pleased to see his friend Spike has returned with him. Spike says Jai was working for him and Kamla softens. Once out of earshot, Spike sniggers that if that was work, bring on the overtime!
Elsewhere Rita tells Pradeep how annoyed she is about Kamla walking out with Jai but Pradeep couldn't care less. Later as they decorate the garden, Rita talks about Jas leaving too but Pradeep points out that they have plenty of other things to do and are going to have a great Diwali this year. In fact this is one house the Gods will definitely notice!
Jai reminds Kamla that she was the one who said he needed an income. Kamla admits that since Jai invested her money she feels more at peace. Jai tells her he has a business meeting with Spike now but maybe she could cook one of her delicious curries for later?
Once they leave Kamla gets an unexpected visit from Roopa and Krishan They ask Kamla to come home and she is pleased until she finds out their parents don't know they are here. She stubbornly informs them that she can't come home after everything that has happened.
Spike offers Jai a business proposition but it means moving back to London and investing some money. Jai says he has missed London anyway. Spike fills Jai in on the details and says they stand to make a 300 percent return on what they invest. Jai seems quite interested in the offer but says he wants to sleep on it before making up his mind.....
