Zenab and Rozena have been shopping for Lailat Al Quadr even though Khatija is doing the catering. When they get home, Mushtaq is trying to find Imran. He's concerned people will think he's just another Muslim community leader causing trouble. Zenab tells Mushtaq to find Imran and take him to the Mosque, out of the way. As the guests arrive, Zenab delights in introducing her old friends to Sameer's mother. Unfortunately she also has to introduce her to Khatija and leaves them chatting. Zenab is worried that Khatija might say too much. When she hears her telling Tara that Mushtaq was lonely while Zenab was away for so long she hauls Khatija into the kitchen before she can do any more damage.
As Jas prepares to leave Pradeep says it should be Imran going away, not Jas. Rita tells him it's partly his fault for hitting Imran; he's made things worse. Anyway if she meets other people her own age in Scotland she might forget all about Imran. But Pradeep is unhappy, he feels everyone is laughing at him and that his family don't respect him. Jas is looking forward to being alone, where nobody knows her. She asks Rita to keep her dad away from Imran while she's away. Pradeep is about to leave for work without even saying goodbye but Jas catches him just in time. Pradeep begs her one last time to stay but she tells him she can't. She's sorry for all the hurt she's caused but she couldn't help falling in love. Imran is waiting outside to take her to the station and Pradeep tries to go and tackle him but Rita manages to stop him as Jas leaves the house telling her dad that he must see, she has to go, she's got no choice.
