Nadia's got a letter from the business trust about her grant but she's too nervous to open it so Khatija does the honours and it's good news. Nadia has been awarded £5,000 for her business and she immediately starts to work out what she's going to spend it on. She's got so many ideas. Khatija is impressed by her enthusiasm but she's busy cooking, for the Jilanis' party on Friday. Nadia texts Zak to let him know the good news. Sway is with him and as he's still trying to get his money out of Jai he finds it hard to be enthusiastic about Nadia's good fortune.
Zak is struggling with his fast. He tells Kamal he's so hungry all the time that he's even having dreams about food. He says he can't wait for Iftari and invites Kamal over for the meal. After dinner Zak tells everyone about an incident when Kamal was searched and interrogated by police, just because he was carrying a rucksack.
Sway finally catches up with Jai at the pub and wants to know where his money is. Jai swiftly apologises and hands him an envelope. He tells Sway that it's not the amount he's expecting. Sway is ready to have a go at him but Jai quickly explains that he's put a bit extra in, for being so patient. Reluctantly Sway agrees to have a drink with Jai but cries off when Jai wants to go out clubbing. He's got responsibilities now, working in the centre and at the café. Jai teases Sway that he's not the free spirit he once was and that it will never happen to him. Oh yeah says Sway, that's rich coming from the man who has just moved in with his mum....
