Jodie's decorated Saffron Ray's for Navratri. Rita and Jodie talk about last year's celebrations, Mani didn't even know he was her father then. She tells Rita about Durga Pooja, a Bengali celebration. Rita is impressed by how much she has learned. Jodie confides in her that Mani wants to take her to India , Rita thinks it would be an amazing experience, and Mary agrees. Now they understand why Mani needed to release some capital from the restaurant. Mary sympathises with Rita about Pradeep missing out on the opportunity.
At the salon, Jaggy still won't come out of the stock room. While Alex talks to Jaggy, Tina helps clear up when she suddenly notices Simran is pregnant. Simran is surprised that Jaggy hadn't said anything, he's known for weeks. Tina runs over to the stockroom and starts to shout at Jaggy that she hates him. Simran tries to stop her, Tina didn't see the state he was in, his life is in tatters. Tina realises that Simran understands Jaggy so much better than she does, she is really sorry how things have turned out. Finally, after about forty five minutes persuasion, Alex manages to talk Jaggy out.
When Rita gets home she finds Sway looking for Jai, she immediately guesses that Jai owes him money. Sway confirms that Jai owes him about £2,000 for two club nights and that he really needs the money, he's flat broke. Rita promises to have a word with Jai about it. They are talking about the shooting at the last club night when Sway lets slip that Arun was there. Rita demands to know what happened, Jai has put one of her kids in serious danger. Rita has protected him for twenty years, but no more, he's not going to know what's hit him.
