Jai is just leaving to join the rest of the family for the Navratri celebrations but is stopped in his tracks by Rob, who has come to demand back the money Jai owes him, with menaces. He won't be messed about any longer. Jai desperately assures him that he'll have the money for him soon.
Sean is spying on Chris's girlfriend Liz, but she catches him and soon realises what he's up to. At first she's annoyed that Chris is checking up on her but then sees the funny side of it, Sean is such a bad spy. As they watch the Navratri fireworks they are joined by A.D. from the young offenders unit. Liz tells him why Sean is there and A.D says he can tell Chris that Liz is with A.D. now and he's taken over his clients as well. A.D. tells Sean menacingly that if Chris thinks about grassing him up then just remind him, he knows where his little sister lives!
At the leisure centre the rest of the Chauhans are enjoying the dancing. Kamla tells them that Navratri is a good time to start new ventures so her partnership with Jai is bound to succeed. When Kamla goes off to see a friend, Rita turns to Pradeep, why is Kamla so blind to Jai's faults. Pradeep is resigned though, Jai has won.
When Jai finally arrives, Roopa spots him and makes him promise to dance with her later. When Kamla and Jai come over, Rita can't help having a dig at Jai that he didn't show up at last year's Navratri, or for Arun's birthday despite promising to be at both. She warns him that in life you reap what you sow.
