Jas is on the phone to Nadia, wishing her luck for her driving test today. Jas tells her she's enjoying the trip but isn't looking forward to having to share the student house again. She'd got used to having some privacy with Imran.
Roopa is livid when Rita makes her take Krishan with her to the shopping mall, what will Bina think? With the kids out at the mall and Rita and Arun at the farm shop, Pradeep has time for a relaxing beer in the sun with his new friend Hilary. He teases Hilary about all the attention he must get from female students and they joke about the relative advantages of married and single life.
Later, on the canal Hilary invites Rita in for tea when it starts to rain. Rita tells him how nervous she was on her first assignment. Hilary says that he misses her...as a student. He doesn't want there to be any awkwardness between them. They agree to remain just good friends and seal it with a friendly kiss.
That afternoon Nadia phones Jas back, disappointed because she has failed her test. She's just going to have to fork out more money to take it again.
At the mall Bina and Roopa waste no time in getting rid of Krishan so they can get on with checking out the talent. Bina asks Roopa how she's enjoying the holiday. Roopa tells her it's not so bad, she just wishes they wouldn't make her eat so much. Then Bina spots a really hot guy and is just about to make her move when Roopa realises they have lost Krishan. She makes Bina help her find him, much to her disgust, she'll lose the fit guy now!
