Have your say
Pradeep and Rita are getting excited about their trip although Rita is still worried about taking the children out of school, she doesn't want them to think she's a bad mother. If only Pradeep hadn't dithered so much they could have gone in the school holidays and caught the good weather. When Kamla comes in, Rita can't help having a dig at Jai that this will be the last holiday they can afford for a long time.
Arun, Roopa and Krishan are not as enthusiastic about the trip as their parents. Roopa has packed her entire wardrobe and Arun wants to take his playstation and decks. Pradeep won't let him but suggests he invite's Sean over for the day, which doesn't go down well with Roopa who wasn't allowed to invite Bina. Krishan has his own problems, Parminder is worried he might have a holiday fling even though he's done his best to convince her that he's not that kind of boy. Jai is winding them all up about how much fun the trip is going to be, and gives Krishan some advice on how to handle women. Unfortunately this doesn't have the desired effect when Krishan tries it out on Parminder. She tells him to get lost.
They finally manage to all get in the taxi, leaving Kamla and Jai to look after a disappointed Uncle Rajan, he wanted to join them on the trip.
The family get instructions about the narrowboat, not the barge, as Lucy their instructor points out. Arun is doing his best to chat her up, but she seems much more interested in Pradeep's muscles! When they finally set off on the water, Pradeep takes charge, he's going to make sure they enjoy this trip, even if it kills them!
