Higgins wants to wrap up the case but Rita disagrees. They need to ask some more questions. Higgins tells Rita she has got the time it takes him to get a cup of tea. Rita assures Deepak that he can trust her. What was he really running away from?
Out in the corridor Higgins runs into Mr Parmar who asks how Rita is getting on. Higgins reckons she is doing well considering it's her first job. He'll get Rita to pop out and say hello, it will be nice for her to know people are looking out for her.
Zenab and Rozena have just finished their morning prayers and are chatting despite being tired. Rozena asks her mum how she felt when she got engaged. Zenab says it was very different in her day. The grownups did everything, maybe that's why she has gone overboard with her daughter's wedding. Rozena is just glad her mum is here and says she appreciates her efforts.
Back at the station Rita tries to convince Higgins and Mr Parmar that Deepak is the real victim here. The family mistreat him and that's why he acted the way he did. Mr Parmar reminds Rita she is an interpreter and that Deepak would have to talk to the police officially. It isn't a good idea for Rita to get emotionally involved. Higgins gets a call to say there is another job to get to. He'll drop Rita off on his way!
Later Pradeep is concerned about how upset Rita seems and makes her a cup of tea. He asks how it all went but Rita doesn't want to talk about it.......
