Arun is off to enrol at college. Pradeep tells Rita they need to talk about their barge holiday. It's a good opportunity for all of them to spend time together. Rita isn't sure - should Arun be missing classes at the start? Talking of college, she might check to see if her own results have come through. She calls them and is told she has passed. Pradeep reckons there is no better way to celebrate than an all expenses paid holiday exploring the canals. It could even be romantic!
It's Sean's release day from the Youth Offenders Unit. Mary has brought an outfit for him to wear but is informed it isn't possible to pass things on to offenders. Mary points out he isn't an offender anymore but the receptionist disagrees. Sean will have to wear a tag for a while to keep his curfew and Mary will have to wait for him in the car park. A glum Mary returns to the car and tells Pete.
Zak jokes about how Arun will concentrate with all these 'honeys' at the college. They look around and Zak is impressed with the equipment in the music department. He reckons he would have studied mechanics himself. Arun almost persuades his friend to enrol too but Zak says he has to earn, his folks need the money he makes. And working at the building site is good for developing muscles.
Back in the car Mary is still upset but stops talking when she sees Sean walking out. She gives her grandson a big hug and is fussing but Sean tells her to stop. He can't just act like he has been on holiday. He is ready to face everyone and that is that!
