Jodie is laughing at Simran's strange cravings for anchovies and mashed bananas on toast but then spots someone coming. Simran gets spooked thinking it's Jaggy. She tells Jodie about him making a fool of himself at the mela. Jodie still thinks she is hiding something but leaves it. Anyway, she wants Simran at Mani's birthday meal tonight and refuses to take no for an answer.
Elsewhere an impatient Rozena is leaving a message on Brian's answering machine. Could he stop sulking and get his mind back on work. And they have a meeting with Tom Vanberg at 3pm or does she have to do that on her own too! Later, Rozena tells Tom she likes a challenge and he decides that persuasiveness is one of her best qualities.
Mani wants Pradeep to become Junior Partner at Saffron Rays. He'd finally get to make changes and give himself that pay rise too! Pradeep says he is interested but has to think about where the money would come from. Mani advises him to take some time to think it through.
Back at the meeting Rozena wants a sneak preview of the other bids and tells Tom what she will do if he doesn't keep to his end of the deal. When he asks if she is threatening him Rozena replies she only makes promises - and she keeps them!
Simran tells Jodie she is glad she came for the meal. She can't hide from the gossips for ever. Jodie says it was the same when everyone found out Mani was her dad. The café was busier than ever with people coming in to stare. Simran says that would explain why the salon has picked up. At least Jaggy's good for something!
