Jas is backstage changing the film in her camera when Imran sneaks up behind her. They steal a quick kiss but just then Mary walks in and catches them. She hurries off embarrassed and Jas follows her to ask her not to say anything to her family - they don't know anything about her relationship. Mary's shocked they've been together so long but Jas tells her they need to find the right time to tell everyone...and everyone deserves a shot at love don't they? Mary reluctantly agrees to keep quiet - but only because she doesn't like gossip.
Simran arrives back at the salon to find Jaggy waiting for her. He's in a foul mood and she invites him inside to stop him causing a scene. Jaggy says he's realised he doesn't need to look for a new career because he already has a business - the salon. She took his livelihood away so now he wants to start seeing a return on the place - and as she's gonna have him and the baby to feed soon she'd better start working harder...
Rozena catches up with Brian by the stage and tells him the survey of the allotments went smoothly - now they just have to wait for the results. Sameer joins them, closely followed by Mushtaq, Mani and Mary. Mushtaq announces Sameer and Rozena's engagement and Brian is taken aback. Mary can see he's upset and when the others have gone invites him over for dinner. Brian snaps back that he doesn't need mollycoddling and strides off to the beer tent. He downs his first pint and is ordering another when Jaggy staggers up, drunk. Then Jaggy's day gets even worse when a woman heckles him - he wouldn't give her son an autograph last year and look at him now...!
