It's the day of the Silver Street Mela and the park is buzzing. Simran has plucked up the courage to brave the crowds but she isn't able to forget Jaggy for long: the first person she bumps into is Brian, who puts his foot in it straight away by talking about his 5-a-side football skills. Mary hurries over to them and packs him off to get some drinks. She guesses Simran is pregnant and tells her she's always there if Simran needs someone to talk to. Simran wanders off and Mary spots her lonely hearts date by the stage. She's really nervous but Brian tells her to stop being silly and introduce herself before it's too late. Mary walks over and says hello to Keith...who can't believe his luck when Mary says she's a landlady!
Meanwhile on the football pitch, Sway is giving the Silver Bullets a team talk and Brian isn't happy to find out he's in goal - he's an experienced player!
Over in her flat, Tina is tidying up around Jaggy. Jaggy can't see what her problem is and gets annoyed when she moves in front of the TV. Tina sarcastically reminds him that it's a video he's watching and he already knows the player misses the penalty. She warns him not to take his foul mood out on her - why doesn't he go out for a bit? Jaggy agrees - there are people who deserve his bad mood more than her...
Back at the Mela, Jas finds Roopa crying in the Astrology tent. Roopa says she can't go on stage - what if people can't see beyond what she looks like? Jas tries to console her: she just needs self belief because she's definitely got the talent. Roopa cheers up and realises she'd better finish her make-up off quick as there's only half an hour to go...
