Have your say

Jaggy gets a visit from Alex, an old footballer from his club. Jaggy's feeling down because City have terminated his contract but Alex says the same happened to him and he's done ok. He started his own business selling sportswear so life does go on. Alex says Jaggy needs to get out of his rut but Jaggy insists that business leaves him cold. Alex maintains he needs to be practical and move on but Jaggy just won't listen - there's no life without football.

Sameer's at the Centre talking on the phone when Kamla walks in. She's decided the that VIP guest should experience some local hospitality and is here to offer her services. She can make them a delicious meal and ensure they are completely relaxed. As an elder of the community it's fitting that it be her so she'll just leave Sameer to sort out the arrangements...

Next up, Sameer gets harangued by Khatija. She's heard the VIP is going to visit Kamla and thinks they should visit her too. Sameer insists the VIP won't have time to visit anybody and tells Khatija he doesn't want this turning into a sectarian feud. Khatija's insulted at being called 'one of the locals' but she's interrupted by Arun who comes to warn them that some of the actors are leaving - they're sick of Kamla! As Sameer leaves Khatija says she'll start preparing her menu tonight.

Sameer tells the actors to take a break and has a quiet word with Kamla. He flatters her by saying he put her under too much pressure - maybe he could help by being her "assistant"? The rehearsal goes smoothly after that. Afterwards, Arun tells Roopa he's watching out for her as Mansoor is definitely eying her up. Roopa is secretly pleased...
