Kuljit and Sway are jogging with Arun and Chunky. Sway reminds everyone there is only two weeks to go before the mela football match but Chunky seems to be struggling to keep up and reckons he has a stitch. He suggests maybe next year they could make it a darts match instead.
Khatija measures Roopa up for her costume and comments on her size. She is definitely bigger than Sahra. Roopa later asks for Jas's opinion and is told Sahra is smaller but then she's a year younger too.
Brian is on the phone to Rozena when he spots Sway and the others training. He finishes his call and says he hopes they aren't the five-a-side team. Chunky gasps for breath and Sway suggests he take a break. Sway comments on how fit Arun is unlike Chunky who is now tucking into a kebab. It's two weeks to match fitness but Sway doesn't think two years would be long enough for Chunky!
Later at the Centre they all break for lunch. Roopa insists she isn't hungry but eventually she agrees to have a bit as long as she can serve herself. But it isn't long before Khatija notes that her plate is empty again.
Rita goes to find Mary to see if she can get her any more food - Mary's been busy working away on the costumes. Mary says it's good to share a meal together and Rita agrees - plus it's good to get the kids away from the house and watching the news 24/7. Krishan took some persuading to come though - he even wanted to know if the Parkside Centre was like that centre in Leeds. Mary reminisces about how she felt going around town after the IRA bombs - she was even spat at in the street. Rita says she just wants her kids to feel safe and Mary tells her to make sure she keeps them close...
