Imran wakes up at the student house to find he is late for a meeting at the centre. Imran feels he is letting everyone down and then admits he doesn't feel guilty at all. In fact he feels quite relaxed. Jas says that's fine now why doesn't he shut up and give her a cuddle.
Over at the Centre Mary seems agitated. She tells Kamla she phoned the prison and they implied that Sean won't be home soon after all. Kamla says she should wait to get the facts from Sean and Mary says that's the trouble, she waits and nothing happens. Kamla says she is sorry to hear all this but where is Imran anyway?
Back at Jas's, Imran's organiser bleeps and he realises he's almost missed an important council meeting - how could he do it? Local leaders and groups are meeting to talk in the wake of the bombings in London. Jas reassures him that he's doing more than anyone to help disaffected youngsters; the Parkside Centre is doing a great job of bringing people together - like everyone working on the Mela. Imran says maybe he's scared that people aren't as united as they think. But anyway, he's got to go...
Pervaiz goes to see how Simran is and she reckons that apart from stampeding hormones she is fine. She's told Jaggy about the baby too but only because he threatened to tell the police everything. Pervaiz thinks if Jaggy wanted to do that he would have done it before. Simran needs to focus on herself and the baby now.
Back at the centre Mary and Kamla are in the middle of auditioning for the play 'Heer Ranjha'. Roopa auditions for the part of Heer and manages to impress Kamla who gives her the part on the spot. It's then Zak's turn to audition as Ranjha and Mary says she hates to criticise but he is pretty awful....
