Things are manic at the leisure centre. Rachel is looking for Kuljit and Sameer directs her to the music class. Then Rozena arrives and says she hopes Imran isn't taking advantage of Sameer's offer to help out with the mela. She tells Sameer she'll pick him up later. Then Kamla turns up wanting to discuss the mela play. Sameer asks who she has got in mind for directing it to which she replies the ideal candidate may be staring him in the face.
Rachel finds Sway on his own. He reckons she should know more about Kuljit's whereabouts these days and admits they aren't getting on too well. Kuls is so preoccupied with his dad he doesn't seem to have time for a life of his own anymore. Sway is surprised when Rachel agrees and offers to talk to Kuls discreetly.
Roopa and Bina are practicing catwalk techniques in the bedroom. Bina produces a catalogue she is modelling in and Roopa pretends not to be jealous. She is far too intelligent to be a model and is going to audition for the mela play instead. She would rather be an actress than a bimbo any day! She later asks Kamla for a part but is told she will have to audition like everyone else.
Rozena tells Sameer to finish off his calls and meet her back at home. She needs to pop to the Chauhans for a word with Pradeep. Once there she asks how Pradeep feels about having a stall at the Mela where people can sign his petition to save the allotments. Pradeep is unaware of what she is really up to and says the future of the allotments is in her hands........
