Rita and Pedro are on the way to their next exam. Pedro says it'll be Friday before they know it and then they can celebrate at the Peacock Club. Rita isn't totally convinced however - her brother and son are DJ-ing! They bump into Hilary in the corridor and Pedro makes a quick exit. Rita is awkward and dashes off after Hilary wishes her good luck.
Sameer and Rozena are enjoying a lazy afternoon at home. Rozena warns him not to get too settled - Mushtaq will be home tomorrow and who knows what mood he'll be in after seeing her mum. Sameer says he's practically family in Mushtaq's eyes and maybe he'll meet her mum soon too? Rozena spills her drink in shock! She broaches the subject with Imran later when he gets home - their mum and dad never spend long together so what's keeping him so long?
Mary is serving in the pub when Pete walks in. She's overjoyed to see her son back after so long. Pete is shocked to hear that Sean's in a Young Offenders' Institute. He wants to go and sort AD out himself but Mary reasons with him - how is that going to help Sean?
Pradeep is with Krishan and Roopa at the allotments. He wants to show them how important the allotments are to the community - they need to protect them from the developers. He's been thinking of organising an open day to get people involved: have they got any suggestions...?
After their exam, Pedro asks Rita if she's going to ask Pradeep to Friday's gig. Rita just tries to avoid answering him but she does ask Pradeep when he picks her up. Pradeep isn't keen - he's more interested in his open day - and Rita's sounds relieved...
