Nadia almost collides into Pradeep on her way to work. He tells her he's just had some terrible news and needs to rush off to telephone people. Nadia assumes the worst and offers to do anything she can to help. She's surprised to see Simran when she arrives at the salon - Simran's back at work and she's planning to move into the flat above the salon. Nadia tries - not all that subtly - to find out what's been going on and Simran advises her to just get on with her job.
Pradeep gets home and disturbs Rita who is trying to revise. He's heard confirmation that the allotment lease is up for sale and he needs to organise a plan of action. Rita realises that she's not going to get anything done whilst he's in such a state and tells him to sit down - she'll get them a cup of tea.
Tina calls Jaggy from work to check he's OK. Jaggy's just moping around feeling sorry for himself and when Tina tells him he needs to think positive he just says his life is ruined. Later on he has a physio session with Kenny. He isn't putting much effort in but Kenny pushes him, saying he still has his whole life ahead of him...
Pradeep tries calling the other allotment-holders but none of them seem interested in taking action against the sale. Rita's still trying to revise and eventually she loses her temper - will he just shut up! Pradeep walks out saying she's only ever interested in herself.
Later at the salon, Simran comes down to check on Nadia who's cashing up. Nadia keeps fishing for information and when she asks Simran if her move is permanent, Simran says is anything in life ever permanent?
