Kamla is organising the lunch for the Mela planning meeting at the Centre and is in her element bossing people around. Krishan's getting under her feet but even so she doesn't appreciate it when Khatija tells her he should be outside.
Imran and Jas are sneaking a quick cuddle in Imran's office when Krishan bursts in. Jas is completely flustered but Imran pretends he was just helping Jas get something out of her eye!
Sameer and Rozena arrive for the Mela meeting and Kuljit can't hide his surprise at seeing Rozena at a community event! Rozena's only there under sufferance but Sameer is actually enjoying himself and he manages to charm Kamla immediately! Imran enters the room a bit flustered after being caught with Jas and the meeting finally gets under way. Krishan has brought a list of ideas with him and Sameer thinks they're good - though Khatija would rather they just have Bollywood film stars. Kamla laughs at her but Jas says she could check with the press to see who'll be around. Imran plays the diplomat and says he'll consider everyone's ideas.
Mary's relieved when she finally gets a call from Sean. She can't hide her worry but is pleased when he says there's a visiting order in the post - it's only for her though, not Brian.
Sway and Kuljit leave the Centre together. The meeting has stirred memories of when they first arrived in Silver Street because the Mela was the first thing they really got involved with. Kuljit's glad they stayed - he wouldn't have found his dad otherwise - but Sway isn't so positive. He invites Kuls to his gig with Jai but Kuljit already has plans. It seems like the boys are drifting apart...
