Simran is still in shock but Jodie encourages her to talk. Did she and Jaggy have a fight? Did he hurt her? Simran can only give broken replies...the night was supposed to be perfect...Jaggy was like a stranger...she shouldn't have let this happen. Jodie doesn't understand but reassures Simran that whatever happened no-one will blame her, and Simran bursts out that it's Jaggy's blood on her clothes. Jaggy was hurt and she left him - he could be dead! Jodie sets off for the flats immediately, promising she won't be long...
At the flats, Pervaiz watches as the paramedics wheel an unconscious Jaggy into the ambulance. Jodie runs up as the ambulance drives away and Pervaiz explains to her what happened - there were complaints about fighting coming from Simran's and Jaggy's flat and when he went to check on them he found Jaggy had been stabbed. Stunned, Jodie realises it must have been Simran. Pervaiz says Jaggy ordered him not to say anything to the police and urges Jodie to do the same. Jodie's unsure but reluctantly agrees.
Jaggy's mobile rings in the ambulance and one of the paramedics answers it. It's Tina, and they tell her to get to the hospital quick. When Tina arrives Jaggy is already going into theatre...
Later Zak arrives at the apartments looking for his dad to find the lobby full of gossiping residents. Pervaiz gets him a coffee and then gives him the CCTV tape from the evening. He wants him to take it home - he'll answer his questions later but he's depending on him.
Jodie gets home and breaks the news to Simran that Jaggy's unconscious and has been rushed to hospital. Simran is distraught - what if she she's killed her baby's dad...?
