Jodie stops by to see Kuljit and ends up having to make her own cup of tea - Kuljit's far too busy cleaning the oven! He says he's spring-cleaned the whole flat ready for his dad so that he knows he's wanted and Jodie realises this is a dig about her and Mani. Kuljit tells thinks she's lucky to have a father who can acknowledge her and accuses her of wasting time being picky.
Jodie wonders if he's annoyed she told Sway first but Kuljit denies this. She tries to explain she's just scared that Mani will leave her again but Kuljit isn't sympathetic - she should sort things out before it's too late. Who knows, maybe her mum did lie to her about Mani?
Jaggy arrives at his Premiership club for the trials and bumps into the cleaner, Frank, who's pleased to see him back. Frank sees that he's nervous and sits him down for a chat. He asks after Simran and says he should marry her soon before someone else sweeps her off her feet. Jaggy leaves to go and warm up and Frank tells him he'll be watching from the stands.
Later, Kuljit catches up with Rachel at the hospital and apologises for talking about his dad all night when they went for a drink. He asks her out again - this time as a proper date - and she accepts.
Warming up on the pitch, Jaggy tells the coach how much he's missed playing in the Premiership. The coach warns him to focus - he wants to see maturity in his play. Everyone will find out today whether they are in or out. Watching from the stands, Frank and the coach and agree that Jaggy's looking trim. Frank thinks it would break Jaggy's heart if he failed today...
