Kuljit collects his dad from the hospital and they pop into the café to buy some cakes and Jodie is surprised he doesn't get one for Sway too. On the way home Amrit recognises where the old school used to be and Kuls is pleased to hear him chatting. Amrit then says he's tired so they head home.
Back at home Sway's sister Sarah has arrived for his birthday and jokes about Kuls buying a present at the last minute. Kuls gets back and asks what's with all the cake and presents but then realises and falls over himself to apologise. Sway says it doesn't matter but it obviously does. Amrit says he's tired again so Kuls takes him into the next room.
When Kuls returns Sarah gets an update on everything that's been happening with his dad's treatment. Sway still seems subdued and after a while says they are going to lunch. A guilty sounding Kuljit says he can't leave his dad and wishes Sway a happy birthday to which he mutters yeah......
Outside Sway tells Sarah he can't believe his best mate forgot his birthday. He doesn't feel like going to some flash restaurant anymore, can't they get a kebab instead? Sarah says she stood on a train for two hours for his birthday so the least they can do is go for a drink and firmly tells him to come on.
Later in the pub Sway is still feeling sorry for himself and announces he is thinking of moving on and Sarah tells him to grow up. There are more important things going on than his birthday. Kuls needs him here whether Sway realises it or not......
