Simran pops round to see Jodie and is curious as to why she isn't at the café. Jodie says she can't concentrate on work what with Mani and the court case, maybe she should have stayed at court. Simran says Mani has lots of friends there and he isn't Jodie's responsibility. Jodie says he is actually but it's a long story.
Over at court the judge announces her decision. She has considered all the circumstances and taken Mushtaq's statement into account but feels a custodial sentence would be appropriate in this case. She sentences Sean's to six months in custody and a disqualification from driving for one year. Sean is taken down as Mary cries helplessly.
Back on the boat, Jodie tells Simran that Mani is her dad, that's why she came to Silver Street. Simran thinks it must have been hard keeping it secret for so long and Jodie says it was. Jodie asks what Simran is going to do about her pregnancy but Simran doesn't know.....
Mary sees A.D outside the court and flies at him. How dare he turn up here, he should be the one going down not Sean. Mani and Brian calm her down saying A.D will get what he deserves but for now they need to be there for Sean.
Jodie is also thinking of Sean and tells Simran how petrified he looked at court today. Simran says he should but Jodie changes the subject back to Simran and the baby. Why doesn't Simran tell Jaggy? Simran finally admits she is scared. They didn't plan this and she is worried about Jaggy's reaction. What if he doesn't want the baby and walks out on her?
