Sean is up in court and Brian thanks Mushtaq for agreeing to be a character witness telling Sean it's very big of Mushtaq. But Sean realises he is only doing it for Mani. Later Mushtaq portrays Sean as a bright young man who has already taken responsibility for his actions and claims he truly believes Sean will benefit from a second chance.
Sway is giving Nadia a driving lesson but she is wound up about Simran and it is affecting her driving. She then informs Sway he can stop telling her what to do as well. The whole thing goes from bad to worse and Sway beings to lose patience. Nadia says she is going to fail for sure at this rate.
Jodie has turned up at court but doesn't want the Bradys to think she is here to rub their noses in it. She came here for Mani. Mushtaq says he'll look out for Mani and suggests she go back to work. Jodie agrees and when she leaves Mushtaq tells Mani he doesn't know why he didn't see it before - Jodie has her mother's fire.
Sway wonders how things are going and absently says at least Mani has got Jodie. Nadia gets the wrong end of the stick so Sway has no choice but to tell her Mani is Jodie's dad. Does she promise not to tell anyone? Nadia changes the subject - she should have been back at the salon an hour ago.
Back at court the judge adjourns to his chambers to come to a decision and Mary can't believe how vulnerable Sean looks sitting there on his own. What will they all do if he does get sent down?
