Rozena and Rita are stuck in a traffic jam. Both are in a hurry to get home - Rita's college friend Pedro is coming round to the house and Sameer is visiting Rozena. Rozena's worried that her dad will pop round and start going on about weddings!
Rozena has read her dad's mind: when Sameer arrives at her house Mushtaq is already there with Imran. Mushtaq makes Imran go and get tea so that he can grill Sameer in peace. He asks Sameer about his family - where are they from, and does he have brothers and sisters? Mushtaq likes what he hears and says they must come round for dinner some time.
When Imran comes back with the tea Sameer asks Mushtaq about their family. Mushtaq admits that his wife returned to Pakistan because her parents were ill and she couldn't settle in England. Her parents have died now but Mushtaq doubts she'll come over again - unless it's for a special occasion that is...
Meanwhile, Pedro arrives at the Chauhans. Rita still isn't back so he chats to Pradeep who pumps him for information about the other students. Pradeep then tells Pedro about their family and Pedro is amazed that Rita has grown up kids - she looks so young!
Still stuck in the traffic jam, Rita tells Rozena that her tutor made a pass at her - well she thinks he did but what does she know about men? Rozena advises Rita to treat it as a bit of fun: enjoy the flattery but be wary. Rita's says she's surprised that Rozena is so unenthusiastic about Sameer considering they've been getting on so well but Rozena avoids giving her an answer...
