Kuljit is walking his Dad round the hospital grounds. He asks the nurse Rachel if he can take him home for an afternoon - it's Vaisakhi later in the week and he wants to celebrate it with him. Rachel says he can just as long as he brings her a doggy bag!
Jaggy and his brother Jinx take a walk around Silver Street. Jaggy is down - he wishes things were uncomplicated like they were in the old days and Jinx forces Jaggy to tell him what's wrong. Jaggy says he feels like he's let the family down by being relegated but Jinx reassures him nobody thinks like that. His parents might think he's a bit of a coconut but that's it!
Jaggy confesses to Jinx that he's been cheating on Simran. He doesn't want to hurt her but he can't stop thinking about Tina - he just doesn't know what to do. Jinx tells him to get away and come home for a bit. He'll be able to see his moment of glory - Jinx has been chosen to lead the Nagar Kirtan at Vaisakhi. Of course I'll go, says Jaggy.
Jas has given up on studying at home and is off to try at Nadia's house instead. Before she leaves, Jas searches Arun's room for her pencil case and is amazed to see her brother revising too! Jas doesn't fare any better at Nadia's though as Khatija's feeling lonely now Pervaiz is at work. She keeps trying to talk to Jas and even gives her a bell to ring when she wants something! Jas tries to get rid of her nicely but Khatija doesn't take the hint and settles down for a chat...
