Sean visits A.D because he wants drugs but is told to get money first. Sean is desperate and offers to steal some from the pub and drop it round later but A.D says he doesn't do credit. Sean points out A.D owes him for keeping quiet about the car race but A.D takes this to mean Sean is threatening him and pushes him into the house. He reminds Sean what will happen to his family if he starts making misguided decisions.
A.D later offers Sean a smoke suggesting they are similar - both grew up without any parents. Sean thinks he is lucky to have some family but A.D disagrees - does Sean think they will stand by him when they find out he nearly killed Mani? That's why A.D is offering Sean the hand of friendship - he's the one person Sean can count on. In fact to get the friendship rolling how about some gear on account in return for a small favour?
Later PC Evans and PC Pullman have just got food from Chunkys and see Sean leaving A.D's flat. PC Pullman asks Sean to get into the car and tells him Mani has suggested A.D is giving Sean drugs. The police also claim they know A.D was behind the illegal car race. Sean defends A.D but is asked to turn out his pockets and out come the drugs. Sean claims he found them but the police reckon he is looking at possession with the intent to supply. However, if he helps them they will do the same for him. They keep on and on about A.D running Mani over and then Sean breaks down. It wasn't A.D, it was him......
