Brian shows Mushtaq around their new marketing suite including the desk area where he intends to 'plonk' Rozena. Mushtaq thinks it is all perfect. Exactly, agrees Brian, the development is definitely back on track.
Imran confronts Mani about the messages from Jodie. Mani accuses him of interfering; he is just like his father. Mani eventually confesses Jodie is his daughter and that he only just found out. They had a row but she obviously wants to see him - why else would she leave the messages? Imran points out the messages may have been waiting a long time - perhaps since before the row?
Roopa goes to see Kuljit. In his letter he said he had feelings for her but Kuls is puzzled. Then Arun shouts April Fool and Roopa runs out crying. An angry Kuljit tells Arun he had better put this right and later Kuls talks to Roopa who admits she showed the letter to Bina and that everyone will laugh at her now. Kuls reassures her that this won't happen. It's all going to be OK.
Elsewhere, Mani has discovered the messages from Jodie were left before their row and is feeling crushed. This means she might still be furious with him......he can't go and see her now.
Meanwhile Rozena has bad news. The council want to halt the development. Mushtaq reacts badly and an embarrassed Rozena tells him to relax - it's an April Fool. Brian and Mushtaq are unimpressed and Rozena admits why she's really here. She has resigned from work and will be here full time. They think she is joking again but Rozena is serious....now where should she put her desk?
