Roopa has broken the digital TV box and reckons Uncle Jai would have been able to fix it but he is away. Later Jai turns up with Easter eggs for all of them but Roopa turns one of the boxes over and realises it is almost out of date. Did they fall off the back of a van or something?
Pervaiz prepares for his first day working as a concierge. Khatija is fussing but Pervaiz tells her he can look after himself. He leaves just as Khatija realises he has forgotten his sandwiches. How is he going to get through a long day without them?
Pervaiz reports to his supervisor and is impressed by all the equipment but is told not to worry about all this. The only equipment he needs to be interested in is the clock. Later Pervaiz realises that Oliver doesn't care much about the residents. The 'yuppies' are always complaining and he passes the problem on to someone else to deal with. He even uses their rooms to smoke in when he knows they aren't around.
Jai gives Rita a belated birthday present - The Best of Go West on CD and two tickets for the band's 20th anniversary tour. Pradeep decides he is taking Rita out for a special dinner and asks Jai to look after the kids. Rita makes a sarcastic comment to Jai about being the lucky one but later in the cab is touched when Pradeep tells her he wants her to have a second chance at education, that's why he bought her all the study guides and textbooks for her birthday.....
