Kuljit and Sway have a farewell drink with Jodie before hitting the road to London. Kuljit is restless - this is a big deal for him. He needs to get all the information he can about his dad's health before he was sectioned so that he can show it to the second opinion consultant. Jodie tries to give them some cash for the trip as a thank you for looking after her business. They don't want to take it but Jodie is adamant - they should just treat it as wages. Jodie orders Kuls to take some time out in London to see some old friends...it'll help him get a sense of perspective.
On the drive down, Kuljit reminisces about the stories his dad used to tell him. He used to think they came from a book but actually his dad made them up. They stop at some services just outside London. Sway is keen to press on - he's ready for his mum's home cooking - but Kuljit suggests they get coffee, and Sway gives in when he realises Kuljit needs time to think. Kuljit continues to reminisce about the good times he had with his dad - he never connected in the same way with his mum. Then Sway's mobile rings and it's his mum hurrying them up...their dinner is getting cold!
As they head back to the van, Kuljit worries that he's not ready to face the past. Sway tells him if he walks away now he'll regret it the rest of his life. Kuls might not know what he's doing but he's not on his own. They're on this journey together and they aren't turning back...so get in the van!
