Kuls and Sway are struggling with a rush at the café when Jodie suddenly reappears - the boys are mightily relieved! Jodie still seems pretty down and when Kuls disappears to deal with a delivery Sway asks her how things went. She says she needed to find out if her mum really had lied to her about Mani abandoning them, but that after speaking to her relatives she's convinced her mum told the truth. But now she feels bad for doubting her. Kuls comes back in and explains his plans to go London to find more information about his dad's case - it could help get a re-diagnosis.
At home, Rozena calls the estate company looking after the allotment sale. She exaggerates her experience and weight in the Jilani & Kavanagh business and tells them she's ready to develop the site on her own. When can they meet to discuss it further...?
Meanwhile, the phone rings at the Akhtars. Pervaiz answers it to find out he's got the job as concierge at the apartment block. Everyone is really pleased and Khatija can't resist having a dig at the Jilanis - while they have this blessing the Jilanis had the bad luck of the unexploded bomb! She insists it's a new beginning.
Back at the café, Jodie reassures Kuls she's come back so that he can head off to London - she realises how important this is to him. Kuljit is nervous about seeing his relatives after so many years but says taking his dad out of the hospital the other day made him realise Amrit could get his life back. Sway tells Kuljit he's going with him - no buts. They'll set of first thing tomorrow...
