Kuljit approaches the reception desk at the hospital to tell Rachel he's taking his father, Amrit, into the grounds. When they get outside, however, Kuls tells his dad he's taking him on a trip into town. On the street, Amrit seems fearful of all the noise but then perks up as he recognises things. He asks if they can eat masala dosas - he remembers a place near the station. Kuljit is touched to his dad coming to life.
Meanwhile, Sway is holding the fort at the café. He leaves a phone message for Jodie telling her to get back ASAP: Kuljit needs to go to London to get more information for his dad's case. Jas pops in to have another look at the noticeboard for accommodation and confesses to Sway she's desperate to move out.
As she arrives home, Jas gets a call on her mobile about a house share. Excited, she rings Imran and asks him to look at it with her. Pradeep enters the room and he's obviously overheard. She tells him not to be angry but she's decided to move out. Pradeep's worried about the debt she'll get into but Jas is convinced it's the only way.
Pervaiz goes for his job interview and is surprised at how welcoming the manager is. He asks about Pervaiz's family and previous work and Pervaiz starts to relax.
Back in town, Amrit suddenly gets upset and lashes out at Kuljit. Kuljit stops a taxi but the cab driver refuses to take Amrit anywhere and Kuljit has to call an ambulance. At the hospital, Rachel is angry with Kuls for causing his father distress. Kuljit apologises. He's really sorry...
