Rita and Jai are arguing in the lounge when Krishan rushes in with the newspaper - he's in it! Jai reads out the story about the unexploded bomb and he's delighted when it makes fun of Rita for washing the bomb in the sink. Rita can't believe they've made her look so stupid. Arun comes in after his boxing class but he isn't exactly fired up. He's tired of Pete telling him to slow down and Jai offers to train him instead. Great, says Arun, how about later? Rita isn't happy...
Kuljit and Sway are late opening up the café and arrive to see the delivery man leaving - now they won't even have coffee to serve! Sway's annoyed with Kuls for not taking things seriously but Kuljit says Jodie isn't the only one with things on her mind. She'd better come back soon.
Arun has a great time sparring with Jai and asks if they can do it again - Pradeep supports him but he doesn't really know anything about boxing. On the way home, Jai notices Arun go quiet and realises he's spotted a girl he likes over the road. Jai convinces a reluctant Arun to go and introduce himself.
Later, Kuljit is getting a coffee at the hospital when Rachel approaches him. He's going on the consultants' round and she tactfully reminds him to keep his cool if he wants them to listen to him. He voices his concern about his father's original diagnosis to the consultant, saying he thinks it may have been wrong. The consultant implies this could just be wishful thinking and Kuljit realises he needs to find new information to change his mind.
