The police are looking into the unexploded bomb situation. Mushtaq and Brian don't want to evacuate the building site but have no choice. Senior officers also want to discuss inadequate security measures with Mushtaq. How else can he explain Krishan wandering freely on the site and carting an unexploded bomb off to school?
Jaggy and Tina are having a meal at Saffron Rays. Jaggy claims he is worried about the papers hassling Tina so why don't they pretend to be cousins? He suggests going back to hers but Tina says they are going to his place - for the whole night. She has only been there once. Is he hiding something?
Elsewhere the police are evacuating Silver Street and informing the residents to make their way to the local school. Kamla thinks it's all a big fuss over nothing but Rita disagrees. If it wasn't for Krishan, who knows what might have happened....
Jaggy calls Simran with a story about hosting a card game. Can't she leave the flat and stay with relatives tonight? Simran refuses and Jaggy returns to the table. He later tries to get to his car and is told to go to the school until it is safe. Jaggy asks if the canal side apartments will be evacuated and is relieved when the police say no.
Over at the school the locals are beginning to arrive and when Jaggy walks in with Tina they wonder who she is. Jaggy reminds Tina she is his cousin if anyone asks. But then the police tell poor Jaggy residents from the canal side apartments are on their way over too...........
