Rita is having a nightmare and Pradeep wants to know what she was dreaming about and asks how her chat with Jai went. Not good says Rita and now all these thoughts are going round and round in her head. Pradeep suggests Rita tell him more and she starts her story...
Twelve year old Rita is helping Kamla in the post office. Kamla asks Rita to fetch Jai from outside. He is playing football with his mates and they tease Rita. Suddenly Jai kicks the ball and the boys run away leaving Rita to face Mushtaq Jilani whose shop window has been smashed. He refuses to listen when Rita tells him the truth. Later Jai lies to Kamla who also refuses to believe her.
Back in the present Pradeep is laughing at Rita's story. He says siblings always get each other into trouble but Rita says it's more than that - Kamla always believes Jai and even now he can do no wrong. Pradeep knows Rita's fury goes deeper - what is it really about?
Kamla is downstairs making tea when Jai turns up. He has been out all night. Jai suggests that maybe he should move out and give Rita some space but Kamla disagrees. Rita starts making snide comments but Kamla tells her to stop being so childish and make Jai feel at home.
Jas tells Pradeep she also had some weird dreams last night. It was something to do with all the rows in the house when she was younger, she fells like she was to blame somehow. Is it anything to do with their first born being a girl and not a boy?
