It's Zak first day on the building site and he seems to have his own welcome committee. Mushtaq, Brian and Rozena are all there, and Brian and Rozena are competing with each other as usual. Mushtaq checks with Rozena that everything is ok for dinner that evening -she's promised to invite Sameer too. Rozena's horrified to find out that Brian's also been invited but Brian is determined to check out Sameer for himself.
Sway and Kuljit, meanwhile, are walking to work at the Centre. Kuls is teasing Sway about bumping the car horn when Nadia tried to kiss him when Imran interrupts them. He needs their help finding volunteers for the Centre's open day, and he also wants to know if they'd be interested in leading some adventure breaks for under-privileged kids. The boys jump at the chance, although they aren't too sure about being called role models! Later on, back at their flat, Kuljit asks Sway about Nadia again. He winds him up saying that if he goes for an Asian girl then marriage won't be far away.
Jas catches up with Imran at the Centre too. She's worried that her Uncle has guessed about their relationship. He could be bluffing but she doesn't trust him, so they'd better be extra careful.
That evening, Imran is late arriving for dinner with his dad. He's shocked to see Brian and pulls Mushtaq to one side. What's going on?, he demands. It's completely inappropriate to invite Brian - if anyone should be there it should be Mani so why hasn't he contacted him? Mushtaq tells Imran to leave it; his friendship with Mani is over...
